 CEIA presents "Metal Detectors Utilities", a support line to aid in the installation, calibration and evaluation of metal detectors used for security purposes.
The line includes video training courses, software programs for operation and measurement, test samples that conform to the international standards and other tools of practical use both to the Head of Security and to the Installing Technician.
Metal Detectors Utilities is composed of powerful tools that allow all who use CEIA Metal Detectors to fully understand and make best use of the detectors’ operational features, and to evaluate the conditions of electromagnetic compatibility during installation.
MDScope
 MDSCOPE is a software package specifically developed by CEIA in order to allow easy and complete testing of the functioning of a metal detector - without the use of special instrumentation - both during the setting up phase and on the occasion of periodic tests. Using a personal computer, MDSCOPE allows adjustment and monitoring of the metal detector, as well as the storage and printing of the data gathered. MDSCOPE may be used with the entire range of CEIA metal detectors series HI-PE Ellipticä , SMD-600, 02PN10 and PMD2.
NetManager
The CEIA NetManager software package is a network managing tool for CEIA metal detectors. The program has been designed for large scale applications, such as airports or banks, in which the detectors in use may be quite numerous and situated at long distances from each other and from the central control panel. With the use of a personal computer that is connected by telephone line to the metal detector, NetManager allows each detector to be controlled and programmed. The Windows software environment chosen makes the system easy to learn and use, and is universally recognized.
